What is WeConnect?
WeConnect is Takeda's patient registry for clinical trials. You register once, share some basic information about your health, and we match you to open Takeda studies. When a study looks like it may be a match for you, we reach out. You decide what to do with that information.
Does registering commit me to anything?
No. Signing up doesn't mean you've agreed to join a trial. If we contact you about something that might be a fit, you choose whether to learn more. You can update your profile or leave the registry at any time — no explanation needed.
What happens to my personal information?
It stays in Takeda's secure systems. We use it to identify trials that may be relevant to you. We don't sell it or share it publicly.
Will I have to leave my current doctor?
No. Most clinical trials are designed to work alongside your existing care — not replace it. If you qualify for a study, the research team will walk you through what's involved and how it fits with your current treatment plan. In many cases, your care team can play an active role.
What does it cost to join?
Nothing. Registration and participation in WeConnect are free. If you're matched to a trial and want to learn more, the research team can speak with you about any participation-related costs — including travel or time — and what support may be available.
